The Evil Singing Inspector

The Singing Inspector…

Yesterday was a regular boring day at school, till in music class there in the corner of the room was this tall, old man. He had puffy pants that went up to his knees and stockings that were very thin, you could see his hairy, burned legs. What was this person doing here and why was he wearing that stuff? Ew!

We all sat on the mat with this man in front of us. He glared at us with his rotten teeth. He called up Armstrong and I, my heart was racing this guy was really scary.

He said in a stern voice “Come on, aren’t you going to sing something”. But I was too scared to answer.  Armstrong answered in a quiet, slow voice, “W-We can sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star?”. Fine just sing it, he said.

Whilst Armstrong was singing in his high pitch voice, I didn’t do anything I was too scared. The man was staring at me I tried so hard not to make eye contact and eventually he told us to stop.

He said “Horrible you call that singing get out of my class idiot”. Then he slowly turned to me “ Why weren’t you singing with that big mouth of yours?!”. I wanted to say how I really felt but, it wouldn’t come out.

He sent me out of the class with Armstrong, and carried on with the other students, I could tell on their faces too they were terrified.

The night before I had a bad dream about the man shouting at me, then before I could say a word, he was chasing me!

Mom sat with me for a short amount of time, but the next day she gave him a piece of her mind.

  3. Aimee, please try to edit your post so that the lines all fit on the page! Also try to split it into 2 or 3 paragraphs. These changes will make it a lot easier to read your post! I do like your narrative. It was fun to read!
